Sweetest story...no skimming ahead. Cecily and Nick are both musical theatre (<--Canadian Spelling) performers. I purposely left out that they are "community" theatre performers because it would really diminish their talents. see:: multi award winning...point made, moving on.

So here is the scene. Final performance in their first show together and Nick gets to sing the last song of the night. Not only is the show called All You Need is Love, but it is Valentine's Day. Nick gets on stage with the rest of the cast behind and wails as usual. Just as the song is ending he drops to one knee, pulls out a ring and proposes to Cecily on stage....for reals.

I have the best job in the world. I get paid to meet wonderful people as they invite me into their life and trust me to capture the biggest day in their lives. Kristina and Barry are amazingly wonderful, kind, funny and so very real. My wife and I felt an amazing connection to them when we first met and their two sessions with me have been two of my favourite sessions of my career.

I love cheering for a couple as their wedding day unfolds in front of my lens, I was cheering for Kristina and Barry this past Saturday.

I was cheering when I arrived at Kristina's house in the morning and a gift for my unborn baby was waiting for me. I was cheering as she walked down the aisle towards her future husband. I was cheering as they made sure the limo made a detour to visit a dear family member that was unable to attend their wedding. ..and I was cheering as Kristina got up in front of the microphone to sing to her new Husband.

It has been a pleasure calling you both friends and capturing your love story. Hope you enjoy your images.
